About Us

The focus of Solaris ChemTech Ltd. (formerly Bilt Chemicals Limited) is on value added speciality, performance and knowledge products in the technology driven global markets. We are one of the few manufacturers in India to produce Caustic Soda, Chlorine, Hydrochloric Acid, Bromine and Bromine chemicals, and Phosphoric Acid.

We are the largest producer of bromine and bromine chemicals in India.

We are the largest manufacturer of technical grade phosphoric acid in India.

Our three main business segments are:

1. Bromine and Bromine Chemicals
2. Phosphates & Chlor Alkali

The Phosphates & Chlor Alkali factory has ISO 9001-2000, ISO 14001 and OHSAS certification. The Bromine plants are also ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified.

Commitment to Safety, Health and Environment is a part of the corporate philosophy and was institutionalised with a yearlong contract in 1996 with DuPont Environment Management Services, USA as the consultant for establishing world-class systems for SH&E. The company is a signatory to 'Responsible Care' movement and is committed to it in all spheres of its activities.
