Description Tetrabromobisphenol - A - bis - (2,3 dibromopropyl ether)

Solaris FR 10-2 is an unique flame retardant containing both aromatic and alipathic bromine.  It is especially efficient in polypropylene and styrenic - based resins.  It is an additive flame retardant with excellent thermal stability.

Applications
  • Solaris FR10-2 is designed for use in PP (homopolymer & copolymer) and high impact polystyrene (HIPS) application
  • It is extremely effective for use in UL94, V-0 & V-2 formulation
  • Its excellent melting characteristics results in minimal impact on mechanical properties of resin
  • Usually used with Antimonytrioxide for maximum flame retardant performance
