'', a wonder material of construction from NIRO KESTNER, France, has been brought to India by Bilt Chemicals Ltd. Evaoprators, Absorbers, Vessels, various equipments, Piping system, infact entire plants have been fabricated to design in material. We now manufacture and supply this product to Niro Kestner's customers worldwide.  

Kestra is an acid resisting material of construction (MOC). This solid , moulded material is homogenous throughout its entire mass. Kestra is made from special synthetic resins having excellent chemical and physical properties, and from chemically inert fillers such as graphite, asbestos etc.

• is a good electrical insulator
• has no catalytic influence
• is light in weight
• has a smooth jointless surface
• has good resistance to wearing and erosion
• does not propagate a flame
• can be easily cut, machined, turned etc.

The mechanical properties of Kestra make it possible to make the wetted parts of centrifugal pumps out of this constructional material. Kestra makes exceptionally reliable glandless pumps. This is due to the fact that there are no wear parts in contact with the fluid pumped. When it is necessary to have overhead feed, it is possible to use horizontal pumps equipped with mechanical seals.
